Pumpkins grow well in Georgia, so there are lots of pumpkin patches to visit all over the state. Here are our top picks for pumpkin patches to visit in Georgia!
Yule Forest Pumpkin Patch, Stockbridge
Yule Forest in Stockbridge has a great pumpkin patch to check out this fall. This is one of the largest pumpkin patches in the state, and you can take your pick between pre-cut pumpkins or cut your own off the vine. To get the full experience, borrow a cart and stem cutter from the farm to cut your own. When you visit, also check out the Old Country Store and take a hayride through the forest. There’s also a petting zoo, jumping pillow, puppet show, and outdoor classroom here for the kids.

Jaemor Farms, Alto
There’s also a huge selection of pumpkins to choose from at Jaemor Farms in Alto. The farm has pumpkins in all different shapes, sizes, and colors and has even been named the best pumpkin patch in Georgia, so it’s definitely worth checking out. Access to the pumpkin patch is free, so you’ll only pay for the pumpkins you want to take home. Pre-cut pumpkins are available, and you can also cut your own off the vine. The corn maze is also fun to go through when you visit.

Uncle Shuck's Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch, Dawsonville
There’s both a pumpkin patch and a corn maze at Uncle Shuck’s. In addition to the big pumpkins that are perfect for decorating and carving, you also can shop for Indian corn, corn shucks, gourds, and mini pumpkins here. All your favorite fall festival food is available as well, including bratwursts, funnel cakes, and caramel apples. There is no admission fee to stop by to shop for pumpkins; however, other activities have special rates.

Mitcham Farm, Oxford
Mitcham Farm has a wonderful pick-your-own program that includes seasonal strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and yes…pumpkins! There’s a pumpkin patch here, as well as a corn maze and other fall attractions, including hayrides and bonfire pits. Pumpkin prices vary by size, and helicopter rides are offered on select dates.

Poppell Farms, Odum
Head to the town of Odum to check out this fall family fun destination. This farm has been operating a pumpkin patch for more than 20 years and also has a corn maze and haunted forest to get in the mood for the season. You can walk through the patch to pick your favorite pumpkin. When the summer heat continuously soars over 100 degrees, this south Georgia farm enlists the help of pumpkin farmers up north to help stock its supply. Other fun activities here are the petting zoo, hayrides, and catfish pond.

Washington Farms, Watkinsville
This northeast Georgia pumpkin patch also allows you to pick your own pumpkins with wheelbarrows, perfect for plump pumpkins that are too heavy to carry. There is no fee to visit the pumpkin patch here, so you’ll only pay for the pumpkins you pick. Most of the pumpkins grown here are carving pumpkins, but there are also pie pumpkins, mini pumpkins, and prize-winning pumpkins that are absolutely huge. Aside from pumpkins, you can also shop for tasty jams, apple butter, pumpkin butter, and fruit preserves in the store here.

Kinsey Family Farm, Gainesville
Kinsey Family Farm also offers pumpkins for decorating and cooking, and you can choose from quite a large variety. For example, you can take your pick between Cinderella, Buckskin, Fairy Tale, Flatso, Flat White Boer, Jack-o-Lantern, Jarrahdale, Moonscape, Long Island Cheese, One Too Many, Polar Bear, and many other types of pumpkins. This is a patch for the true pumpkin connoisseur because there are so many unique types here!

Southern Belle Farms, McDonough
Just a short drive from metro Atlanta, Southern Belle Farms offers lots of opportunities for family fun this fall. This is a 330-acre family farm in McDonough with two acres of pumpkins, four acres of corn maze, and over 20 outdoor attractions. You can wander around the farm to find your perfect pumpkin and even paint your new pumpkin in a special area right here at the farm. Your admission price includes the corn maze, hayride, cow train, corn cannon, and many more activities.

Burt’s Farm, Dawsonville
This Dawsonville farm always has a great batch of pumpkins and gourds in various colors like yellow, white, orange, and green. Admission and parking are free for the pumpkin patch, but consider taking the hayride on a two-mile ride through the patch and the woods. You’ll catch a glimpse of Amicalola Falls at the end of the ride!

Stone Mountain Park Pumpkin Festival, Stone Mountain
Stone Mountain Park is a fun place to visit any time of the year, but it has a fun fall pumpkin festival. Here you’ll find shows, games, a kids’ carnival, spooky storytelling, a parade, and a pie-eating contest, as well as glow-in-the-dark adventures after sunset. Access to the festival is included with a daily Adventure Pass, which includes lots of other Stone Mountain attractions, too. This is a festival and not a farm, but it is definitely a fun place to celebrate your love of pumpkins this fall!
