Minigames are training games that are in every duck life game. Playing them levels up your duck, which in turn allows them to do better in races, or battles in Duck Life Battle and Adventure. Based on the minigame you are playing, you will level up the stats for a certain skill. The minigames got better with each game, and these are all the minigames that appear in the series.

Duck Life[]
In Duck Life, there are three basic minigames. Running, Swimming, and Flying. In Running you jump over the objects coming at you while trying to not get ran over. In Flying, you use the fly up and down to collect as much coins as you can until you run out of stamina. In Swimming, you have to dive and jump to avoid the obstacles. The max level for all of these is 150.
Duck Life 2: World Champion[]
In Duck Life 2, there are 4 minigames. The first three are mostly the same as the first game but with some differences. In running the graphics are updated, and more objects besides logs will roll at you. In Flying, there are now obstacles you have to dodge. In swimming, the graphics are updated. This game introduces a new skill, which is climbing. When climbing, ducks can climb up ledges. In Climbing, you climb a cliff with two rocky structures with certain ledges that you cannot pass. If you are stuck, use the arrow keys to switch to the other ledge, and you will need to switch back and forth so forth. The max level for all of these is yet again 150.
Duck Life 3: Evolution[]
Amateur League[]
In Duck Life 3, there are 17 minigames. They are split amongst the leagues your duck takes place in. In the Amateur League, there are 4 minigames for Running, Swimming, Flying, and Climbing. In Flying, the graphics are updated again, and the minigame is mostly the same, except for the addition of purple coins. When touching these coins, your duck will fly faster, and their stamina will increase. In Running, the graphics are updated and the game is mostly the same, but bouncy balls are now added, which you may need to dodge or jump over depending on your position. In Climbing, the graphics are updated, but the game is mostly the same with no new major differences. In Swimming, the graphics are updated, but new obstacles are introduced, such as the cruise ship and another duck. The max level for all of these is 50.
Advanced League[]
After your duck has evolved for the first time and has entered the advanced league, the amateur minigames will be locked and you cannot play them, but four minigames for the advanced ducks will take their place. In Advanced Flying, your duck will fly much faster, and there are no rocks to dodge, which are replaced by buildings you fly through. In Advanced Running, there are now steps you have to go up. In Advanced climbing, you are climbing between to buildings with much more obstacles than the cliff, such as even rougher ledges, satellites, and balconies. In Advanced Swimming, new obstacles are introduced, such as gates you have to dive under, submarines you have to jump over, and mainly, spikes. The minigame will instantly end if you touch these. These can be avoided by either diving or jumping. The max level for these is 100.

- Each type of training has 5 parts, which you can unlock after every 10 levels. This makes a whopping total of 60 training mini games.
Quest games[]
Archery Cave
- In the archery cave, your duck is given a crossbow and told to shoot! Shoot all of the targets on the doors to open them up and progress through the cave. Watch the time limit bar at the bottom because if it runs out, you’ll have to start over. Get the to end of the cave before running out of time to receive a mystery prize!
Beach Clean Up
- A clumsy duck has dropped all of their precious paper cranes on the beach, and they need your help to pick them all up. But watch out, the tide is coming in (and fast!). You’ll have to think about the right route to take in order to pick them all up without letting any be taken by the ocean!
Pipes
- There’s a duck who’s having plumbing problems, and they’ve enlisted you to help (in exchange a tasty reward that is!). Click on a pipe segment to rotate it, and keep rotating segments until everything is connected up nicely. This one is a puzzler for sure!
Crystal Mines
- Deep below the Crystal Desert is the Crystal Mines, where there’s treasure to be found! Unfortunately, the only way out of the mine is via a terrifying mine cart track. Use the brake to control the speed of the mine cart and stop it flying off the track (or make it fly off the track and land nicely for swag points!). If you make it to the end of the track without crashing, the treasure is yours!
Hot Air Balloon
- There’s something valuable in the sky, and luckily you have a hot air balloon to go and fetch it. Unluckily, the sky is full of obstacles and mines that are ready to pop your balloon and send you hurtling towards the ground! You can only move up and down, so you’ll have to use the wind gusts to move around
Toadstool Tower
- Inside this enormous tower is a load of platforms, and it’s your job to jump up them all the way to the top! Some platforms are special and will give you a massive boost, but others will start to crumble as soon as you jump on them. Don’t fall down!
Volcano Skydive
- Just outside the volcano is what the ducks lovingly call the “death hole”. This is a giant deep hole filled with lava, rocks and fireballs that no one should ever venture into. It’s your job to skydive all the way to the bottom, avoiding all the obstacles on the way down. If you make it to the bottoms there’s a prize for you, but that’s a big if!
